Rod Quintin, Chair

Rod was appointed by the Saskatchewan Association of School Business Officials (SASBO). SASBO represents 150 school business officials.

Now retired, Rod was the Chief Financial Officer at Chinook School Division. The division operates 62 schools across southwestern Saskatchewan. He has served on a number of boards, including the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency and the Saskatchewan School Boards Association.

He has a graduate degree in Business Administration from Royal Roads University.


Ashley Stradeski

Ashley Stradeski, Vice-Chair

Appointed in 2018

Ashley was appointed by the cities of Estevan, North Battleford, Prince Albert, Swift Current and Yorkton.

Ashley is the Director of Finance for the City of Yorkton. Previous to this, he was a Senior Manager with MNP, one of Canada’s largest accounting and business consulting firms.

He is a Chartered Professional Accountant.


Richard Beck

Richard was appointed by the Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association (SUMA). SUMA represents the province’s 454 cities, towns and villages. He has served on the SUMA Board as North West Region Director since 2016.

Since 2009, Richard has been a member of Warman City Council.

He previously served with the Saskatchewan Library Trustee Association and the Wheatland Regional Library Executive Board.


Mark Fedak

Joe was appointed by the Saskatchewan School Boards Association (SSBA). SSBA represents 27 school divisions across the province.

Since 2014, Joe has worked for the SSBA in Communications, Research and Policy Support. Previously, he covered provincial, municipal and school board news for the Regina Leader-Post and the Saskatoon Star Phoenix.

Joe has an undergraduate degree in Journalism and a graduate degree in Public Administration. He has taught journalism classes at the University of Regina since 2011. During a six-year term on the Saskatchewan Book Awards Board, Joe served three years as Vice-Chair.


Mark Fedak

Mark Fedak

Mark was appointed by the Saskatchewan School Boards Association (SSBA). SSBA represents 27 school divisions across the province. Mark serves as a Board Trustee with Horizon School Division.

Mark retired as a Superintendent with Horizon School Division in 2016. The division operates 43 schools across east central Saskatchewan. He owns and operates a third-generation family farm.

Mark has a Diploma in Administration and Certificate in Local Government Administration from the University of Regina.


Wendy Gowda

Wendy Gowda

Wendy was appointed by the Rural Municipal Administrators Association of Saskatchewan (RMAA). RMAA represents senior administration of the province’s rural municipalities.

Now retired, Wendy served as an R.M. and town administrator. She is RMAA Past President, served as President from 2015 to 2020, and was a division director for many years.

Wendy holds certifications in public sector administration and governance, and continues to act as a mentor and advisor.


Evan Handley

Evan was appointed by associations that represent firefighters and police officers with members in the plan.

Since 2003, Evan has been a member of the Estevan Police Service. He currently serves as a Sergeant in charge of a Platoon and the Combined Traffic Services Section.

Evan has held multiple roles with the Estevan Police Association. While President, he was a Board member of the Saskatchewan Federation of Police.


Beverley Lawreniuk

Beverley Lawreniuk

Beverley was appointed by associations that represent eight regional colleges and seven regional libraries across the province.

Beverley is the Finance Manager with Wapiti Regional Library, which has locations across central Saskatchewan. She previously worked in Human Resources with Saskatchewan Rivers School Division. The division operates 33 schools in and around Prince Albert.

She holds multiple certificates and diplomas and has been involved in a number of local community organizations.


lenda Lemcke

Glenda Lemcke

Glenda was appointed by the Urban Municipal Administrators Association of Saskatchewan (UMAAS), where she serves as the Division 3 representative. UMAAS represents administrators from the province’s urban municipalities.

Glenda is the Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Langenburg. She previously held the same role with the District of Katepwa. She serves on a number local boards and mentors others.

She has a Certificate in Local Government Administration from the University of Regina.

Bob was appointed by the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities (SARM). SARM represents the province’s 296 rural municipalities.


Marney Robinson

Marney Robinson

Marney was appointed by trade unions other than CUPE, police and fire unions.

For more than 25 years, Marney has worked at North West College in North Battleford as a Program Coordinator.

Marney is currently the Education Sector Vice President at SGEU and the Provincial Chair of the Regional Colleges Bargaining Committee. She sits on a number of committees, including the SGEU Health and Welfare Trust committee and the Long Term Disability Supervisory committee.

Marney is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan.


Janice Wolfmueller

Janice Wolfmueller

Janice was appointed by the Saskatchewan locals of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) with members in the plan. CUPE has 30,000 total members in the province.

Janice has been involved with CUPE since 2006. She is currently Vice-Chair of the National Advisory Committee on Pensions. She has served in a number of roles, including as a steering committee executive, head shop steward, secretary treasurer and negotiating team member.

For more than two decades, Janice has worked at Milestone School. She studied Business Administration at the University of Regina.
